Nicholas Brendon, a native of California all his life, was born in 1971. He had little intentions of becoming a actor until he faced a baseball injury in college. His mother, who was herself an agent, help Nicholas dive into the acting field. Before he could persue acting, he had to learn to stop stuttering.
Nicholas has made appearances in "Married...With Children" and "Young and the Restless", but had yet to star in a show. Just before landing his current job, he was working as a waiter.
Nicholas plays Xander on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". He was part of the original permanent cast and has stayed with the cast since. Xander, with constantly changing relationships, provides much of the humor to the show. Nicholas has a identical twin brother named Kelly, whom he currently shares an apartment with.
