Nields Apocrypha
The Nields Apocrypha is a list of every song the Nields have ever done, including covers, that they have not recorded onto one of their own albums. Lyrics are available to nearly all of the original apocryphal songs. There may at some future point also be lyrics available for the songs they have covered as well.
A star next to a song on the list below (which will link you to my tape trading page) indicates that I have the song on tape. I did not mark songs that are cut; for example, I have the song "I Fall To Pieces" on a tape, but it's cut in the middle and rather hopelessly mangled, so I did not put a star next to that song.
Several people have helped me out quite a bit in the creation of this page. Bruce of the Nields Nook is a fountain of Nields information, and was extremely helpful when I was compiling the list of Nields Apocrypha. Lyndhaven and Bob, both of the Nields Nook, and my friend Natasha helped me out a lot with the lyric transcriptions. Finally, Nerissa Nields and David Nields themselves have very kindly helped me with the lyrics to several of these songs.
