.... Once again the continuing saga that has become known as Family News. This is somewhat of a mini-series covering past/present/recent events in and around the house. This is Volume 2 Issue 5.
This is one page of several others that "getting better as we go" keeps you up to speed of events around here. The idea that this may appear as a monthly thing is false. It is written when the weather keeps me indoors or when the notion strikes me. Remember this is not only for those far away but for those of us who have a moments to spend during the day when reading is much better. Take a moment to write and let us know events unfolding at your end.

Karin's world
20000625 - College is out for the summer! Studies for the current semester have concluded. The Hair shop fills in the days away from school.
20000701 - We have a winner. Late one night not so very long ago, Karin replied to an invitation on the radio to win a free pub crawl. The girls had a good time.

Sherri's world
20000701 - The starting point of the pub crawl. Party, Party.
One of her best friend's is getting married this summer. She was appointed honorary duties (bridesmaid) with the effort well under way.

Carolyn's world
20000620 - Look out SAIT! After a long recess, an attempt to once again make the institute of higher learning a part of life will begin in early July.
20000623 - The dates are set. July 4 will be the first day back to her desk. As before an attempt was made for a gradual transition forward but met with a challenge that never in her wildest dreams was revealed.
Several surgeries and placement of an artificial pacemaker have certainly made a mark that was never imagined. Lets hope that she is not jumping into this too early, there is always the school of thought that this could be regarded as learning or a step to continued therapy.
20000704 - Very soon one of Carolyn's friend's will be getting married. She found a great guy.

20000622 - Since the longest day of the year has passed, outdoor projects are still going as scheduled. Scheduled, thats a word used to say things are going ahead as planned, if you know me this means that only good intentions exsist.
Insurance adjusters are not your friends. They may tell you otherwise, do not take this to be fact.
20000702 - The fence restoration project (damaged by neighbour's car) has been 90% completed. A new fence is built and spanking new gate to boot. The garbage bin is also relocated to the other side of the back where neighbour's cars will do less damage if they want to mow it down again. When I think about the circumstances of the car/fence incident, I think she left her smarts at home that day.
20000704 - Expect a rant here soon about gas prices and power rates.

20000630 - The 7RP (70's Renovation Project) is stalled.
As mentioned to the left, the fence project is almost complete. Painting is next.
We are waiting and standing by to solve another house emergency.
