.... Once again the continuing saga that has become known as Family News. This is somewhat of a mini-series covering past/present/recent events in and around the house. This is Volume 2 Issue 6.
This is one page of several others that "getting better as we go" keeps you up to speed of events around here. The idea that this may appear as a monthly thing is false. It is written when the weather keeps me indoors or when the notion strikes me. Remember this is not only for those far away but for those of us who have a moments to spend during the day when reading is much better. Take a moment to write and let us know events unfolding at your end.

Karin's world
20000726 - Warning: Scum of the city have struck, be careful where you park your car. During a "send off" celebration for one of her bud's, her car was vandalized. The scum (other words were also used as I'm sure you can imagine) broke the car's glass, lock & scratched the car to the tune of about $600 in damage.
20000802 - Body shops have to get a grip on business. You would think at least one would be hungry for business, I stand corrected.
20000820 - Car fixed except for a pesky charging system fault.

20000801 - One of her best friend's is getting married this summer and the date is very close now. A mountain get-away is planned for the "girls day out" at a spa.

Carolyn's world
20000722 - Wedding was excellent. The happy couple were looking great (composed, relaxed & ready), the food was excellent (remind me to get our next big event catered) and the venue terrific. Shelly and Frank make a great couple.
20000727 - It was a soiree! Kathy (Carolyn's sister) turned 50 a few days before we were found celebrating at this year's family social event. Take a look at the Birthday Party where amoung group photo's are other's to top off the evening.
20000801 - SAIT a few times per week is going as planned! After a long recess she has been going back to the salt mine and resting the remainder of the week. For the present time the schedule is about right, not much more would be recommended.
I don't know how much detail I can say about returning to work, work is work. Who is happy to return to work, know what I am saying? Plenty of changes have happened at the Institute of Higher Learning and she will do fine at her current rate. At least that is the plan if all goes well and lets be assured it can. Albeit work is also therapy as it is a form of income, being with co-workers and the effect it can have are healing. We seldom realize that the thing we put our hat upon is also affected when our body suffers a trauma. Healing begins each day anew.
20000825 - Where were you in '69? Since the Viscount Bennett Reunion 2000 a few photo's have surfaced. Take a step back to 1969 and see a photo of the Glamorgan Grad's

20000730 - Has it been hot or what? I don't like the extreme heat (period)
20000801 - The fence restoration project (damaged by neighbour's car) has been 90% completed. Garden shed will be replaced very soon once the floor preparation that is currently under way is completed. Garden/Tool sheds are not simple every day purchases, you can spend thousands on these things.
20000802 - Expect a rant here soon about gas prices and power rates. Theives are again wearing suits. Extreme greed and out right theft at the hand of big business for no apparent reason, at least as far as the news media have found.

The fan keeps us cool...
20000801 - The 7RP (70's Renovation Project) is stalled. Summer is distracting.
As mentioned to the left, the fence project is almost complete. Painting is next. The summer heat will slow down the pace a bit but I have now bragging rights to new drawers in my tool cabinet. Don't mess with me, the tool cabinet sports roller guided tool drawers that bring tears of joy to my eyes. Couple more and it will be bliss.
We are waiting and standing by to solve another house emergency.
