A warm and gracious hello! Welcome to my sitting room! I do hope you enjoy your visit here. I have a LOT of things on my mind and things I want to share with you! Please keep in mind my intentions are not to offend who drops by. The opinions you will find here are my own, and I pride myself on being a woman who speaks my mind, but I also respect the opinions and rights of others.
I have slowly "found myself" here on the web. A lot of people think they "know" me, but they truly don't. Co-workers who have visited my pages have expressed surprise at finding a side to me they never knew existed. I guess when you work in Corrections for 25 years and see the terrible things that we see daily, your true self gets tucked away to be protected from all the violence and the horror. My website has helped me re-discover my true self, and slowly I've become more comfortable in letting that side of me be seen by the rest of the world. Working with violence tends to put one on the defensive most of the time, and you lose your faith and trust in people. I have met so many, many wonderful people on the web whose kindness has helped and encouraged me to be myself and "let my hair down".
So this site is not only a journey for you but also for me. Come . . . let us walk together while we laugh, tell each other our hopes and dreams, share prayers for loved ones and those who are struggling, and plant the seeds of friendship.
These are all the little nooks and crannies of my sitting room. Please feel free to wander around . . . but please don't rearrange the furniture. I tend to wander around here with no lights on, and I've got the furniture down to a science! ~giggle~
