Who is Paula?
Becoming Real doesn't happen all at once ... you become. It takes a long time ... By the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and shabby ... these things do not matter ... once you are Real you cannot be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

Hi and Welcome. This biography was written when I began a more serious search to discover who I am. There are after all many sides to me and all contribute to my wholeness. Here, I'll give you a little sense of who I am, a very brief history of my growing up and how I came to begin one part of my journey of life.
18 Oct 1999: While I have updated the layout, the contents of these pages remain as they were when I first wrote them. My continuing journey can be found in my other pages. It is interesting for me to come back and re-read my pages from "back then" and realize how far I have come and to see how I was feeling emotionally.
