From Barbara (Buckalew) Rogers:
"The Abraham Buckalew family lived in the small town of Pushmata, Alabama, located in the county of Choctow in the west central part of the state for a few years. While the children were small they moved to the community of Increase, Miss., now known as Causeyville which is located 12 miles southeast of Meridian.

"While living in Increase, the first wife of Abraham passed away, leaving approximately six children. It is believed that she is buried at the Ebanezer Cemetery near Causeyville. Several months later, Abraham married for the second time.

"During this time, the Buckalew family had become friends with the G.W. Hayman family. Shortly thereafter, these famlies moved to San Jacinto Co., Texas, and settled near the small towns of Coldsprings and Shepherd.

"Mattie Buckalew had married Charlie Williams from Increase but went to Texas with their families and friends, but soon returned to Mississippi and lived in the community of Causeyville until the time of their deaths in the 1930's or 1940's."

Abram (Abraham) first married Louise (Haywood) Roberts. Born about 1819 in MS. Louise (Haywood) died in 1870/1876; she was 51.

Not in 1880 census report.
