Notes

Susan was the third of three children following Michael Bronson Foster b. 14 Mar 1952 and David Russell Foster b. 18 July 1954. She grew up at Whirlwind Hilltop, went to Lyman Hall High School and Allegheny College in Meadville PA majoring in German and spending her Junior year in southern Germany at the Univ. of Constance. Following a short career as a teacher of English in Ulm, Germany and in the crystal industry at Spiegalau she decided to follow a call to the ministry and returned to Lancaster Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania.
Her dream was fullfilled when she was installed at Minister of the East Woodstock Congre-
gational church in northeastern CT, married Roger Solomon and raised three children while her church grew year by year.
