Welcome to my Backyard Pond

This is one of the first photos we took after the pond was filled and we had
some plants started. You can see some of our construction material laying
around...the work is never done! :o)
This photo is taken from our driveway. This is the first glimpse you
get of our backyard gardens and pond as you arrive!
See the fish? They are gold fish and will double their size by next summer! You can't see them,
but we also have 7 creek chubs, 2 serpae tetras, and one little black molly.
You see I have an aquarium. Yep, you guessed it...John took the 3 little fish
that were left in the aquarium and put them into the pond. Now don't go sending me hate mail...'Cuz I plan to take them out and return them to the aquarium before the cold winter months arrive! *S*
Meet Bud! He showed up one evening and I feel in love with him. Later
another one showed up..and I named it Wise...then about a week later guess
who came to visit? Yep..Er showed up...now I have the "Budwiser Frogs" in
my pond.
