KARMA......Are you paid up or IS THERE A bill IN THE MAIL ??

________________

There are those who will and those who don't believe in Karma. I personally have fairly mixed view of the Karmic process of retribution. Why? I don't know, I already feel as though I have paid the Karmic debt of India. All I can say with any certainty is that "I hope Karma exists".

If you read the section titled Employment Update, you could easily believe that I have on more than one occasion wished Karmic catastrophe on a select number of people. To date there has been no evidence of it !

People will spout endless adages about the Karmic revenge that will surely befall the people who deserve it:-

"what goes around comes around" "as you sow, so shall you reap" "do unto others" "blah blah blah ad nauseam"

Well I kinda get sick and tired of waiting for the Karmic retribution I feel that certain people have had coming to them, I think "where is it ? it is certainly well overdue" "

I also feel that Karma acts very quickly when it comes to bringing me back into line.

Many of you will be only too aware of the conflict that I had with the Fremantle Sailing Club. My main protagonist here, I have on many occasions named as Mr Brian Adams; coming a close second was that fat prick Martin Bolmeyer, and bringing up the rear Mr David Vaughan-Taylor.

In the latter part of the club dispute all emphasis was taken off David and placed squarely on the shoulders of Mr Adams. (the real bastard) and his henchmen.

Well all key figures involved in this debacle have now left the club.

Brian Adams is working as the manager (No not at McDonalds, where he belongs) of the Araluen Country club, (a prestigious golf club) and no doubt horrifying the staff there with his incompetence, lies, and lack of knowledge in anything remotely to do with staff interaction or matters of the E.O.C; and I am sure he will be keeping any deviants in line with, what was that famous line I heard so often ? Ahhhh that's right he called it counselling but what it really was, was a threat of dismissal.

Martin Bolmeyer has vanished without a trace... no small feat let me tell you for a fat, indolent, hypocritical bastard like him. (Remember Martin I won the stare out over when the grill should and shouldn't be turned on.... Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah ) Sorry, I just had to indulge myself in that childish but nonetheless self satisfying memory. And David.

David after working for East Freo yacht club, went off and bought a franchise business which was doing incredibly well. He had (from all accounts) bought into "Leonard’s Chicken". For those of you who don't know, Leonards is a very popular fresh chicken outlet here in Perth that specialises in all manner of chicken dishes.

A source who wishes to remain nameless said that only after one week of owning the business David expressed grave doubts as the wisdom of his decision.

He confided to this source that, " he felt as though he had made the worst decision of his life and that he absolutely hated the business".

Anyone hearing such an exclamation from a friend would just think it was perhaps buyers remorse and that the person was just being silly. After all the business was doing a roaring trade and things were looking really bright for the future.

Apparently this may have been the case to the casual onlooker, but David really felt under incredible pressure and the stress of his recent acquisition was more than he could cope with.

It has been confirmed from the anonymous source that David Vaughan-Taylor has had a nervous breakdown.

Apparently he has left the business to be run by his wife, and he has spent some time in hospital. He has reputedly lost some 4 stone in the past 6 weeks.

Close friends have rallied around in the hopes of offering David some alternate work in the hopes of getting him out of the depression he is apparently in.

David has so far declined all offers to return to cooking and it has been said that his mental health is still somewhat delicate.
He has been described as being ghost like, in comparison to the larger than life figure he once was.

He has spells of depression where he mutters repeatedly the same statements over and over.

Apparently the business is being sold and the new owners are said to be taking over in the next two weeks. (Mid December)

What will David do now I ask myself. Such a staunch adversary in the past, part of me is saddened that for the time being someone isn't being regaled by the tales of the incredible, fantastic and on some occasions the totally fabricated.

Will I ever hear the words *.1."M A A A N I C A" bellowed across a room again ? Will we ever argue the banal points of some totally inane, but nonetheless interesting (only to us) topic ? "I hope so". "We never did finish our circumcision debate" J In the spirit of good will, (and investigative journalism) I rang David to wish him a speedy recover. Whilst his usual strength, and charismatic personality weren't immediately apparent, it was there lurking just beneath the surface of our conversation, bubbling through every now and then.

If ever anyone had the fortitude to get well it is David.
