What ever happened to Dr. D. Brooks ???? This
memorable adaptation of a bamix advertisement by Mandy and Ian was the result of the night
myself and Sally C made a midnight dash through the most unbelievable thunder,
lightning and rain storm, to see Dr. D. Brooks, which produced this.
Not that Dr Brooks or Dr Feldman had anything to do with this clever adaptation
of a Bamix ad.
Dr Brooks who has spent a virtual lifetime as a welfare recipient, I doubt
would have the mental capabilities of thinking this up.
Thats is not to say that Dr Brooks isnt creative. OH NO !
I have never met anyone like Dr Brooks when it comes to getting her house
furnished by some unsuspecting man who is hapless enough to fall into her clutches. Then
this may just be an indictment of how stupid the men are as opposed to how bright Dr
Brooks is.
When things arent going quite the way she would like.. believe me its a
gift the way she can pick up a telephone and ring you up with one of the most
fantastic stories, designed to bring help and solutions or at the very least sympathy.
But I have dealt with fabricators and liars on many previous occasions (I
should have been a detective you know) and her machinations will have to be a little
better planned than they currently have been.
So whatever happened to Dr Brooks.
Well after a string of failed marriages to complete fools....and some 20 years
...... yes Dr. Brooks. thats how long it has been..... 20 years she still resides in
Burnie.
Apparently now she is working in the town....In a Chinese Restaurant! Well I
guess you gotta do something when welfare stops paying you to be a stay at home single
Mom... and you are too young for the old age pension.*smirk*
When No skills, no hope, no motivation and no future keep you married to a man
that you spent more hours than I can count on the phone complaining about, here to my mind
at least, is the reason people cling desperately to relationships that simply are fucked.
Here is the latest wedding photo,
and I have lost count of how many times this is now, and it didnt escape
me but has anyone else noticed that the Bride wore white. I rolled laughing when I saw
these pictures............. W H I T E ........my god that in itself should make me rescind
some of my earlier comments or at least amend it to include brave..... hahaha. The head
piece which reminded me of an apparatus used in cooking, to sit the cooked ham on prior to
decorating with chauffroid sauce, could have been obtained at a far more reasonable price
from any catering/kitchen supply store.
The bridal party made up mostly of family members (children and
grandchildren)of the respective newly weds.
What you cant see because I have edited the photo is that the brides maids wore
what looks like black dresses, and if they were not black they were a dark, dark colour.
What a treat Burnie must have had as this "Goth" wedding paraded its way through
town, no doubt from a church to the wonderful Burnie Park.
Having long since ceased to be fascinated by the tawdry lives this calibre of
people live we can I guess be grateful they found each other.
Though it is a detriment to society to lose so many promising young men to this
class of woman through forced marriages as a result of unwanted pregnancies; it is a
benefit to the species; Left to their own devices, women of this class tend to end up
marrying their brothers, their cousins, or their fathers.
In most cases, that's the same person. |
