Peter McDonald was born in 1800 at Scotland. He was born on 12 September 1800 at Isle of Oakie, Scotland. Unable to find an "Isle of Oakie" in Scotland. Another source says his birthplace was the "Isle of Skye". He married Martha Lavinia Coon, daughter of Jacob Coon, on 29 January 1826 at Pike County, Mississippi. He and Martha Lavinia Coon appeared on the census of 1840 at Pike County, Mississippi, They were "enumerated as a male and female age thirty to forty. Included in the household were two males twenty to thirty, three females ten to fifteen and two females five to ten. The younger females were probably children of Peter and Martha, but it is unknown if the two older males were family members or servants".. Before 1842, Peter McDonald and Martha Lavinia Coon lived at Pike County, Mississippi; +. Peter McDonald is head of household on the census of 11 September 1850 at Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, as "Peter McDonald". He was listed as a male of age 50 who was born in Scotland. His occupation was given as M. E. preacher. His real estate was valued at $1620.. Enumerated with him were Martha Lavinia Coon, Sarah A. McDonald, Catharine McDonald, Magaret McDonald, Christian McDonald, Jacob McDonald, William S. McDonald, Julia L. McDonald, Elizabeth McDonald and "Infant" McDonald. He died on 12 August 1865 at Haynesville, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, at age 64. He and Martha Lavinia Coon were buried at the Shady Grove Cemetery, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.

The 1850 Census contains an age for Martha that agrees with 1810.. She was the daughter of Jacob Coon. She was born in 1810 at South Carolina. She married Peter McDonald on 29 January 1826 at Pike County, Mississippi. She and Peter McDonald appeared on the census of 1840 at Pike County, Mississippi, They were "enumerated as a male and female age thirty to forty. Included in the household were two males twenty to thirty, three females ten to fifteen and two females five to ten. The younger females were probably children of Peter and Martha, but it is unknown if the two older males were family members or servants".. Before 1842, Martha Lavinia Coon and Peter McDonald lived at Pike County, Mississippi; +. John Lewis Kuhn was born on 24 September 1757 at Amelia Township, Orangeburg, South Carolina. John Lewis Kuhn was also known as John Lewis Coon. He was the son of Hans Caspar Kuhn and Anna Marie (?). He was baptized on 20 November 1757 at Amelia Township, Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is listed as a private in Colonel Thompson's regiment of rangers as age 19 (he may have given a false age), five feet six inches tall and born in South Carolina on 25 June 1775. He served in Thomas Taylor's regiment for fourteen days and did not receive any pay. In May 1782. In 1811, John Lewis Kuhn lived at Wilkinson County, Mississippi. He died intestate on 22 December 1822 at Wilkinson County, Mississippi, at age 65.

He married Mary Melissa McKenzie, daughter of James Lacy McKenzie and Margaret Michael McCann, on 11 January 1866 at Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. He was enumerated with Tirras A. Moore on the census of 15 March 1920 at Webster Parish, Louisiana, as "Zachry Adkins". "He was listed as a widowed, white male of age 75 who could both read and write. His relationship was nearly illegible but appeared to be 'ggfinlaw'. His occupation was listed as farmer but no farm schedule number was listed. He and both of his parents were born in Georgia." He died on 8 March 1935 at Webster Parish, Louisiana, at age 89. He died on 18 March 1935 at Webster Parish, Louisiana, at age 90. He was buried at Sarepta Cemetery, Sarepta, Webster Parish, Louisiana.

He married Jency Alexander, daughter of Hiram Alexander, on 18 December 1840 at Henry County, Georgia. He and Jency Alexander were members of the Primitive Baptist faith. He and Jency Alexander moved to Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, in 1852. L. C. Columbus Adkins said to have "... hired a substitute to take his place in the late Civil War, that he hired one of his brothers, Louis D. Adkins and that he paid to him one thousand dollars ..." He died on 28 May 1893 at Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, at age 73.

Jency Alexander was born in 1824 at York County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Hiram Alexander. She was born in 1825 at Georgia. Jency Alexander was also known as Alexandria. Jency Alexander was also known as Ginsey or Jincy. She married L. C. Columbus Adkins, son of Zachary Adkins and Piety Prudence Sansing, on 18 December 1840 at Henry County, Georgia. She and L. C. Columbus Adkins were members of the Primitive Baptist faith. She and L. C. Columbus Adkins moved to Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, in 1852. She died on 13 July 1860. "She may have died in childbirth as neither she nor her last child are listed on the 1860 census.". She was buried at the Adkins Cemetery, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. "Family tradition has it hat Jincy was the first to be buried in the Adkins Cemetery. It is said tha L.C.C. was so grief-stricken that he buried her in the woods near his house and went out and slept by her grave at night for some time."

She was the daughter of Charles Sansing and Mary (?). She married Zachary Adkins, son of Lewis Adkins and Susanna Horn, between 1806 and 1807 at York County, South Carolina. She died in September 1879 at Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. She was buried at the Adkins Cemetery near Homer, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.

Lewis Adkins was born on 22 August 1745; Page 18 of the source says "8-22-1745" while page 20 says "8-22-1747." He was born on 22 August 1747 at Surry County, Virginia. He married Susanna Horn in 1766 at Sussex County, Virginia; They were married between July and October. He began military service on 4 March 1776 at Sussex County, Virginia, On May 17, 1777, he was in the Eighth Virginia Regiment of Foot. He ended military service on 25 June 1783. He and Susanna Horn moved to York County, South Carolina, after 19 November 1793 They sold their land on the Raccoon Swamp shortly after the death of Susanna's father. He died circa 1810; "Lewis probably died between January, 1809 and the time the census was taken in 1810. ... There is a possibility that Lewis was not dead in 1810, at age 64 but was the male over 45 listed with his son Zaccheus."

One source says Thomas McCann married Mary McDill, daughter of Samuel McDill and Jane Elizabeth McBride, on 2 February 1807. He married Mary McDill, daughter of Samuel McDill and Jane Elizabeth McBride, on 2 February 1808 at North Carolina, according to another source. He lived after 1816 at Alabama. He are said to have lived in 1824 at McNairy County, Tennessee. However, they had children born in Alabama as late as 1828. He died on 29 January 1845 at McNairy County, Tennessee, at age 62.

He was the son of George Stovall and Joanna (?). He was baptized on 11 November 1683 at in the Old Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Albury Park, Surrey, England. He was a member of the Church of England. Starting in 1684 Bartholomew Stovall was indentured to Richard Kennon for a term of four years as a husbandman in return for passage to Virginia. He immigrated in 1684 to Virginia, from Alborough (Parish of Albury), Surrey, England. He was found on a passenger list in 1684 of the ship BOOTH, Captain Peter Pagan, Master. He and Ann Burton obtained a marriage license on 6 August 1684 in Henrico County, Virginia, with surety by John Steward, step-father of Ann. He married Ann Burton, daughter of Susan Allen, on 8 August 1693 at Old St. John's Church, Henrico Parish, Virginia. He was taxed on 100 acres per the Quit Rent Rolls in 1704 at Henrico County, Virginia. He sold 100 acres to John Woolredge on 2 March 1712 in Henrico County, Viriginia. He received 318 acres on 16 August 1715 in on the south side of James River on Deep Creek, Virginia. He died circa 1721 at Henrico County, Virginia. As of 1721, Bartholomew Stovall was also known as Stovoll. He left a will, datedJan 14 1718, that was proved on 1 May 1722 at Henrico County, Virginia.
