Yesterday cannot be relived and tomorrow
is not certain, so help me make the most of today. This coming year,
help me to learn how to use each day to please You and to do Your will.

There are times whne I worry too much.
Help me to remember that You will never burden me with more problems than
I can handle. Amen
There are times,Dear Lord, when I am self-righteous
and condemning. Enter my heart so that I will be more understanding.

Let my prayers be acceptable to Thee this
day. Through You I receive my strength to cope with whatever I must

I close my eyes and ask You to guide me today
as I make decisions that affect me and those around me. I ask for
courage to stand by those decisions. Amen

You have guided me through rough waters many
times. When I feel and accept Your hand, I know I need not fear.

It isn't easy to accept Your "No" as an answer
to my prayers. Help me to trust Your judgement with grace.

opinion and outlook than mine. I need to remember that we grow by

Walk with me as I cope with the problems facing
me this day. I ask for Your support as I try to make the right decisions.

When I am angry or critical of someone and
I am tempted to recite a list of their faults, close my mouth and remeind
me that I too have many faults. Amen

How fortunate I am that I have family and
friends that love me. May I never forget how empty my life would
be without them. Amen

Help me to be as kind and forgiving as I want
others to be towards me. Amen
God ---
I trust You to be with me always as a loving,
sustaining and supporting presence. With You beside me I can endure
all things. Amen
Merciful Lord ---
I thank You for Your boundless blessings.
I pray that I will always be deserving of all You give me and that I never
forget Your generosity. Amen

Stay close to my friends. Bless them, protect
them and keep them close to Your heart. Amen

I need to remember that You never close a
door without opening a window. Remind me that even in the most devastating

I want to give my children good roots.
Help me to establish a stable home where they will grow knowing they are
loved by me and You. Amen

Thank You for the ever changing patterns of
Your world's beauty. Keep me from being indifferent to it or taking
it for granted. Amen

Let me feel the joy of making someone's day
a bit more pleasant by making a phone call, writing a note or running an
errand for someone. I will not expect anything in return. Amen

Help me to steer my worries into the daytime
hours and trun them over to You before I go to bed. I will do this

When I feel inadequate, help me to remember
that You love me unconditionally and that to You I am truly special.

my life right now. Don't let me wait until I am desperate or feel
