My room is usually a mess, but did my best to clean
up before you came by. When you've spent as many hours cleaning up after
others as I have, you'll see how sick of it you can get. Don't get me wrong,
I love hostessing, but the cleaning up part has never been my favorite.
As you enter, you'll notice that I enjoy space. I
had Methos knock out the walls of what had once been a suite to make one
large room. Add that to the beige walls, tan carpet, and tall windows lining
the far wall and it makes for a wonderful, airy feeling.
I don't have much in the way of furniture, since
I travel back and forth between here and Joe's so much, but what I have
I love. To your left you'll see the rows of warm pine bookshelves. If you
ever want to borrow anything, I have a large collection of fantasy, science
fiction, and mysteries. My favorites are Anne McCaffrey, the DragonLance
series, Richard Bach, Robert Jordan, and P.D. James, but you're welcome
to all.
To your right is my living area. It's got a small
refrigerator, a scratched up sectional couch, a papasan chair, the pine
coffee table, and a small cabinet with my television, stereo, vcr, and
my webtv. Once I've settled into that area, few things can pry me out.
Farther back to the left is my bed. It's a frameless
waterbed, wonderfully soft. It's covered with a simple goosedown comforter,
and occasionally, with two cats.
You didn't know I had cats? I'm not surprised. Bubba
and Chrissy are terribly shy. If you look closely, you can see two pairs
of eye peering out from under the comforter. If you stay long enough, they'll
get used to you, and then you'll never have any peace. Bubba is an affection
hound and Chrissy can never get enough of playing 'fetch'. What can I say?
Odd mistress, odd cats.
Back to the right is the one room I left when I moved
in. It's a marvelous bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Perfect for relaxing
in when I've returned from a hard week at Joe's. Or perfect for a night
with Joe...
I don't have much in the way of wall decoration.
Back by the bed I have several large pictures of the Master and my sisters,
a life size one of Joe, and several pictures of my fellow barmaids and
barflys scattered around. I've never gotten around to putting anything
else up, though I know I'll probably do it one of these days...
So, anyway, that's my room. It's not much, but it's
home. Feel free to stop by anytime. As any good hostess should, I have
a fridge full of refreshments and a good ear for listening. Come back soon!

My suite at the castle is light and bright and big.
It has lots of book shelves made of light oak on the far inside wall as
you walk in with a couple of comfy chairs to sit and enjoy a book or the
latest writings from the Harem. A computer and an entertainment center
are in an adjoining large alcove off the main room to keep me entertained
when the Master is otherwise preoccupied with a fellow sister. The main
room contains a big canopied bed (always wanted one of those) with a colorful
old-fashioned quilt and some of those lacy pillows on top and sheer curtains
that go around the bed to enclose it. A nice, comfortable sitting area
is located in the suite to chat with you all when you visit my room. BTW,
I also have a *large* bathroom. Small bathrooms have been a bad habit of
mine since forever...I want a nice big bathroom that has a huge walk-in
closet, large vanity, double headed shower and Jacuzzi tub! There is an
exit to my large balcony through light oak french doors. The balcony looks
out (I hope) over the gardens and beyond to the sea.
