The Kitchen and Dining
Room
The kitchen is always a high traffic area in any
home and this one won't be any different. Linoleum floors because not even
the goats could keep anything else clean (especially if we have to fend
off invaders), with huge floor to ceiling windows and decorated in pastels
and oak. An island or two in the center because plenty of counterspace
would be a must so more than one person could work at a time and I need
it for my baking. A big butcher block table for eating and working on projects.
Two refrigerators: one for food and one for drinks(of course beer and hello
my name is Laura and I'm addicted to coke). A walk-in pantry to keep the
Nutella and Fluff. Steel sinks just becuse they look cool, with a hot-water
tap that puts out boiling water instantly (my grandparents have this, I
know it exists). The most up-to-date appliances and a stereo to listen
to music as we work. It would be a good place to keep the schedule and
a back door leading to a patio for eating outside. Back doors are also
good places to have cute delivery boys come. And how about a hole to feed
Cassie the burned stuff when we're feeling nice.
The room is huge, big enough to accommodate the entire
harem and any guests which might attend dinners there. A long heavy wooden
table dominates the room, which is lit by a myriad of tiny lights in the
antique chandeliers overhead. Many sconces for candles decorate the walls.
