Hi, my name is Aleesha. I was diagnosed with SLE in June of 1998. I was constantly tired and always very sick. Many times, I was afraid to say I was sick. Since being diagnosed it has been a challenge for me. My job has become extremely difficult and I am always at the doctor's office since I seem to have flares quite often. I just came out of the nursing home one week ago and was then diagnosed with Diabetes. I am now on 40 mgs of Prednisone a day plus insulin injections twice a day. I would appreciate any information anyone would send to me.
