My Children  

    I would like to introduce you to my wonderful children. They are the light of my life and the test of my endurance! They both inherited my strong self-will, which means we often engage in the battle of brains and the war of wits. May the most stubborn one win...
All jesting aside, my life would be so empty without these two people. They are my teachers, my comfort, strength, and inspiration. They have taught me more about myself and God's love for me than anything or anyone else could have. My children often produce serious bouts of stress, yet they are also an endless supply of joy and spiritual nourishment. Mothers love all of their children equally, but each one holds a different, special meaning in our hearts and adds something unique to our lives.
They are Angels of Light, illuminating the  darkness in my mind and soul. ~~~~

     In each of my childrens' rooms, you can read my own sentimental prose depicting who they are to me. In addition, there are photographs and various "fun" things of their choosing.

God has provided for so many of my spiritual and emotional needs through my children. They both have taught me more about my relationship with God than anyone or anything else could. Children are inherently spiritual, arriving here fresh from Heaven. The longer we travel this earth, the more we forget where we came from and the more we settle into this human experience. When I drift a little too far from my closeness with God, it is my children who
re-connect me with my spirituality.
 

  

My Heavenly Father

I believe my relationship with God is simple, but it is very personal, nonetheless. I have absolute trust in His love for me, knowing that He wants only the very best for me, and all His children. He wants me to be happy, peaceful, productive, useful, helpful, and creative... all that I want for myself! The one catch to the deal is, He is the only One who knows how to go about establishing these desires in my life. I just don't have the wisdom, foresight, or ingenuity to work everything out for the good. So, I go about His business of trying to be an expression of His love and creativity, and let Him worry about my business of being happy, peaceful, and successful. I simply do what is in front of me to do, acting according to what I truly  believe is right and good, and leave the results up to God. Then, no matter what happens, I try to learn something from it... a new insight into spiritual truth, or an awareness of something which needs to be changed in myself... then trust that God can and will work it all out for the best of everyone involved. It's quite simple, indeed, but not always easy to practice! Fear still trips me up from time to time, but as long as I am in this human body, I still have time to learn to trust Him more.

This is my first attempt at putting together a photo album and only have a few pictures loaded right now. As I get more pictures, I'll create something a little better.. and hopefully have a better picture of myself! I'm just NOT photogenic.
