Banshee
Powers: Banshee has the power to manipulate sonic sound, which he can use to fly, destroy stuff, and hypnotize people.
Significant reletives: Theresa Cassidy (Syrin of X-Xorce), Black-Tom Cassidy (Brother, half-dead, half-plant)
Banshee went around the world being a good samaritan (Look it up), and finaly ended up back home in Ireland. There, Professor Xavier asked for his help in rescuing the X-Men from Krakoa, a livng mutant island tht feeds on life-energies. He ended up being semi-usless on that mission, but remained with the X-Men for a healthy while. However, in an attempt to bring down Mosses Magnum (An evil dude where the only thing good about him was his 'fro), Banshee pushed his powers beyond the limit, almost shattering his own vocal coards (Note that it is almost impossible for mutants to harm themselves with thier own powers). Whith that, he gave up the super-life. He aided the X-Men on occasion, being pretty handy with a gun and good ol Irish fightin' knowhow.
However, times eventualy got desprate and a Morlock healer was able to give Banshee back his powers. Okay, so I don't know the whole story behind this, but I'm looking it up, okay? (I think it had something to do with the Shadow king. If anyone really knows, E-Mail me with the info, 'kay?). It was also durring this time that Banshee and Dr. MacTaggart were swapping spit (and hopefully that was all they were swapping, if you get my drift.). Xavier was justifiably upset, but he remained mature about it (unlike every other X-character who would of probably started introducing Banshees face to thier fists). And Banshee finaly was aquanted with his long-lost daughter, who was under Black Toms evil influence.
Eventualy, those two broke it off and Banshee again became a "Globe-Hopping Mutant Crusaider", until he rejoined the X-Men as a reserve member. That lasted about five seconds, though. Banshee again left the team to hang out in the Carribian...
Upon his re-return to the X-Mansion, He found out Sabretooth was living in the basement, the White Queen was recovering in the med lab, and the whole place WAS CRAWLING WITH PHALANX! Upon rescuing Jubilee and the two aformentioned villians, Banshee was forced to destroy half the mansion (including Cerebro and Xaviers Mutant files) to get the Robotic life-forms off his back. In the chaos that followed, the four tried despratly to rescue the young new mutants that the Phalanx were targeting. They managed to rescue one (Everet Thomas, AKA Synch), and Sabretooth escaped.
The four scrambled to find the young mutants and tracked them to a military ship offf the coast of San Fransisco. Sabes eventualy came back to save Bansee and the other young mutant's butts, declaring that "Young meat tastes better!", but went back to Xavier's School without incident after the phalanx were defeated.
Upon rescuing the other young mutants (M, Skin, and Husk. But not Blink. Poor Blink, killing herself to destroy the phalanx... OH WHY WHY WHY?), Professor X and The White Queen teamed up to found a new school for young these young mutants, Emmas old Massatuchets academy would now be the new Xaviers school for gifted youngsters, With Banshee being the Headmaster alongside the newley reformed Emma Frost, which is where he remains to date, as seen in Generation X.
