PSYLOCKE

From this...To THIS!

Real Name: Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddok

Powers: Psylocke is an established telepath, and can use a "Psionic blade" to inflict physical and mental damage on her opponents. (NOTE: Psylocke recently lost her powers in an effort to contain the Shadow King)

Significant reletives: Brian Braddok (aka Captain Brittain), Jamie Braddok (Comotose)

Betsy's origin starts off simple enough. She grew up in merry ol' England and found out she was a mutant. So naturaly, she decided to join the X-Men, who didn't have a resident sexy telepath.

She served with the X-Men and all seemed fine. However, she was one of the few survivors of the Morlock Massacre, and a short time later, she was blinded. Unbeknowest to her, Mojo (of the other-dimensionaly TV run universe) implanted bionic camera eyes into her so he could profit from the X-Mens exploits. But then one day, Psylocke (along with the other X-Men) went through the Seige Perilous. She ended up in Asia, where her mind was transplanted into that of a ninja assasin by Mandaran and The Hand (A group of expendible extras), while her actual body was given to the mind of a dying woman known as Kwannon (mostly due in part to thier physical and mental simularities). However, neither of the two were fully cognizant of this. It gets worse. (of course, if you've been reading the other bios, you know that it always does)

So the new Psylocke re-joined the X-men, diplaying new ninja-ish abilities. She served on the team in relative peace... until a woman named Renevanche with similiar abilities started causing a ruckus. Something about a "body-switch"... Anyway, Renevanche turned out to be Kwannon's mind in Betsy's Body, While "Psylocke" was Betsys mind in Kwannon's body. Meanwhile, each "body" still had a "mind of it's own", further complicating matters. So "Renevanche" was invited to stay at the X-mansion while Proffesor X and Beast could figgure this puzzle out.

However, Renevanche soon contracted the legacy virus, and subsiquently died as a result. Just before her death, she made final peace with Matta, her rival/lover, the same man who was resposible for the body/mind swap. With her dead, and all questions answered, Bettsy could now turn her attention to more... "important" things. Like Warren Worthington....

The two started their romance due moslty to thier simularities (wealthy family, both having been changed by forces beyond thier control, perfect bodies, they both liked pie...), and mutual need for comfort. The two almost grew intimante, but then, without warning, tradegy struck...

Sabretooth, who had been staying at the mansion and acting like a dumb kitty-cat, taunted Boomer (of X-Force) into using her powers against him. This freed him from his restraints, allowing him to cut loose. Psylocke tried to stop him, but was gutted to ribbons. Ew....

As her condition worsened, Archangle decided to go with Wolverine on a trip of super-natural proportions. With the aid of Dr. Stange and some friend of Wolvies named Gromet to retrieve a potion known as the crimson dawn. They succeded, but Psylocke woke up with a Red tattoo on her face, new "Shadow-teleportation" powers, and a WICKED additude...

Psylocke didn't even seem to notice how she was drawn into evil and dark things, but still, she was a good guy. However, when the Shadow-king struck, she used her full power to contain him, and is now powerless. She has left the team, but at least she went down with a good note...

Holy Transformer!
