However, she was just a 13-year old mallrat who never took anything seriously. Being the only person on the team under 18 didn't help her either. However, she did find friends in Beast and Iceman, the teams only real fun-lovers. She also keeped poor proffesor X on his toes with all her anticts. However, she would eventualy realize that life was not a game...
First, Illianya (Colossus's sister) had surcumbed to the legacy virus; Then Wolverine, her mentor, was almost killed when Magneto ripped the Adamantium out of his skeleton; and finaly, she was almost killed by the Phalanx.
After all these events, Jubilee decided to high-tail it and join Generation X, the fourth team to carry the X-insignia. This was a good move, basicaly because it's lead to her finaly being able to chill with people her own age. And she seems to have something for Synch...
Just before Operation: Zero Tolerance, Jubilee was kidnapped and subjected to a series of mental tortures by Bastion. The information he erected from her mind allowed him to breach the X-Mansions security and several potential weaknesses of various members. While captive, Jubilee was also able to sabotoge bastions efforts by helping to free the other X-Men that had been captured. She eventualy escaped as well, and meet up with the X-Men else-where in the desert, who returned her home.
Jubilee hasn't been up to much lately, just fighting along side her friends in Gen X. Of course, I don't read Generation X that much anyway. But Jube's life is gonna get even more complicated, seeing as how the School's being called the Mass. Acadamy again, and is accepting HUMAN students! Oy...
