First the sexual innuendo with Aphrodite & the barbarian, then notice the 3 X's when Gab is looking at that "humanly impossible" sculpture (foreshadowing of a rated attmepted X ep?), Joxer & his 3 moons of furious zug zug (ok maybe that wasn't so subtextual), & of coures, Xena & Gab. This ep was just chock full of subtext!

AHH enough of the fish jokes!! I think the entire universe knows Rob Tapert AND Lucy Lawless have a thing for fishing by now. We don't need to see anymore.

They all seem to be having some more repressed memories again. Xena and some unresolved problems with Lyceus, Gabrielle & her feeling of being unappreciated, & Joxer & whatever his problem is. Probably either he has to admit he's not a great warrior, or his love for Gab.

LOVED that morph between young Xena & older Xena!!! That was just the coolest morphing I've ever seen. And it worked too & wasn't just some horrible looking mess. Kudos to the special FX gurus at Flat Earth.
