If you want to make your own, you'll need access to a Scroll Saw. And if you really enjoy making little wooden foo-foos, you will absolutely LOVE a Scroll Saw! This is one fun power tool!
I merely traced some leaves on paper, cut them out, traced them onto thin plywood, and cut them out on the Scroll Saw. You can, however, use a Jig Saw ~ it's just a little more difficult to make the small details and you'll have to sand the edges when you're through. Then paint as desired...
I picked up some small sticks out of my yard and tied them in bundles of 3 with a twisty. (You could use Cinnamon Sticks if you wanted, but plain sticks are free.) I hot-glued an acorn to the twisty.
I then tied 2 big bows out of crafting ribbon, which are hot-glued to each end.
After braiding a long piece of Raffia, I hot-glued all my pieces onto it and hung it on the wall!
