I sent John DEVOLs wife some med. I went to Ben DeBAUNs to see Emma ERNEST. I went to the Christian church to social meeting. I went to Press KESTERs awhile P.M. I spent the evening at W.D. WIERs. I handed V. MORGAN one dollar to get me some med tomorrow. I sold Rob HAUGER twenty five cents worth of med. I sent Melvin LOWE some med. The med V. MORGAN got me cost forty cents. It was a cloudy day.

Monday, February, 4, 1878

I went to Ben DeBAUNs to see Emma ERNEST. She paid me three dollars on acct. I pulled a tooth for Soloman HAUGER. I let Riley MEEKER have some med for his wife. I went to Joe POWERS and Asa HAMILTONs to get them to Haul me some wood. I let Rebecca WIER have some med. It was a clear day.

I went to Sallie FRAIKS to see her. I handed Curt SHATTUCK one dollar and fifty cents to pay for visiting cards he was to send for me. Riley PIETY paid Wm HAUGER twenty five cents on my account. HAUGER kept the same. Milt PIETY paid me twenty five cents on acct. I let James CUTSINGER have some med. I went to the Christian church but was called away before meeting opened. I went to V. MORGANs Jr. to see him. It commenced raining about dark.

I paid fifteen cents for postage stamps. A.J. LOWE brought two books from Terre Haute for me. It rained all day.

I let Johnithan KIRKHAM have some med. I let Bennie HAUGER have some med. I let Tom STEVENS have some med. I let Mont STEVENS have some med for his baby. I let James HAUGER have some med. I went to the Christian Church to night meeting. It rained & snowed all day.

I went to the Christian church A.M. I went to Daniel KESTERs to see his little girl. I took dinner there. He paid me two dollars and a half. I let Wm HAUGER have some med. I let Tom STEVENS have some med. I went to the Christian church to night meeting. It snowed most of the day.

I went to the Shoe Shop and Rob HAUGER halfsoled my boots. I let Rob HAUGER have some med. I paid ten cents for maple sugar. I went to Press KESTERs a few moments P.M. It was a fair day.

I went to John DEVOLs to see his wife. I let Jake FRAIKS have some med for his little boy. It was a clear day.

I went to John DEVOLs to see his wife. I let Squire FRAIKS have some med. Wm GOBIN paid me thirty cents on account. Wm HUNT got some med of [off] me. I went to Temperance meeting. Rob HAUGER paid me ten cents. It rained a little P.M.
