Monday, September 2, 1878

I let David POUND have some med for himself & Frankie. I let Johnithon KIRKHAM have some med for his wife & child. I went to Mrs. DOWELLs to see Sammy. I went to Clem STEVENS to see his wife. I sold Harry CLIFTON ten cents worth of med. I went to Johnithan KIRKHAMs to see his wife. I went to Philip TURNERs to see him. I sent Sammy DOWELL some med. I paid ten cents for Starch. I paid thirty cents for Postage Stamps. It sprinkled rain P.M.

I went to James McHUGHES to see him. I went to the School House to hear M.C. HUNTER Speak. I let Hiram ROSWELL have some med. Cornelius ALBEE brought me six chickens for which I allowed him six bits on acct. Chris ASH brought me two bushels of wheat. I went to Hiram GRIFFINS to see him. I stopped at George COPLANs to see his wife & Jennie. I stopped at Adam BUTLERs to see him. I stopped at J. KIRBYs to see Bertha WHITLEY. It was a fair day.

Wednesday, September 4, 1878

I paid two dollars for Sugar and twenty cents for Stone jars. Crawford DOWELL brought me two bushels of peaches. David POUND brought me one bushel and a half of peaches. I sold J. WIER one bushel of peaches for forty cents. I let Harbin HAUGER have some med. I went to Mrs. DOWELLs to see Sam. I let Tom STEVENS have some med for Cora. I sent Sam BURNAM ninety cents worth of med. I sold Press NASH ninety cents worth of med. I went to Milton PIETYs to see his wife. I paid two dollars for sugar. I paid Polly Ann HARMON fifty cents for her help to day. Jennings BURGESS made me an ironing board. It was a fair day.

I let Milton PIETY have some med for his wife. I let David POUND have some med for his wife. I went to Sallie FRAIKS to see her. I stopped a few moments at Milton PIETYs. I sold Johnithen FRAIKS some med twenty five cents worth. I sold V. MORGAN Jr. forty cents worth of med. Hiram ROSWELL hauled me some oats from David POUNDs. I let James ELLIOTT have some med for Roscoe. It was a fair day.

I let Amanda HARMON have some med. I mailed Sister Sue a letter that contained three dollars and a quarter. I sent BUNTIN & ARMSTRONG fifteen dollars and an order for some med. I let W.H. HAUGER have some med. I paid one dollar for fruit cans. I went to Joseph THOMPSONs to see his wife. I went to Riley MORGANs to see his wife. I stopped to see Markoe MORGAN awhile. J.L. WATSON paid me five dollars on acct. I went to Clem STEVENS to see Ed. I let Clem & his wife & Mont & his wife have some med. I stopped at Adam BUTLERs to see Ida. I sold Stewart MOWERY fifty cents worth of med. I sold Homer MORGAN some med for which & on acct he paid me seven dollars and a half. I let Wm HAUGER have some med for Linn. I went to Sallie FRAIKS to see her. I went to John BAILEYs to see Theodore HANDYs wife. I went to Mrs. GOBINs to see Sammy & Rube DUNCAN. It was a fair day.

Albert ELLIOTT put two new shoes and two old ones on Nannie. I went to Jim ELLIOTTs to see Roscoe. I went to Mrs. GOBINs to see Reuben DUNCANs wife. I pulled a tooth for Charley DUNCAN. It was a fair day.

It was a cloudy day. Rained some.

I went to Charley McDONALDs to see him and his wife. Ham TAYLOR paid me one dollar on a note I held against him. Colonel FARRAND sent me four dollars and a half as pay on his acct. I went to Thuel JOHNSONs to see Judge. I went to Nancy KILIANs to see Clara and Will. I went to Binis LYTLES to see him and for which he paid me one dollar and a half. I went to Wm PRADERs to see his children. I let Hiram ROSWELL have some med for his wife. I let Homer MORGAN have some med for his wife & Lorie. I let Bell HARMON have some med. I sent A.J. HARMON some med. I paid Jim TURNER for hauling me some goods last week. It was a fair day.
