Monday, July 1, 1878

I paid A.J. HARMON seventy five cents in money & twenty five cents on acct stable rent. I paid Rebecca WIER four dollars and seventy five cents in money and twenty five cents on acct board bill up to today. I went to Press KESTERs to see him & Lois. I let David POUND have some med for himself & daughter. I let Ben INGERSON have some med for George. I let Mrs. ELLIS have some med for Jim. I went to Joe FAGGs to see his baby. I let Wm PADDOCK have some med for himself & wife. I went to George COPLANs to see his wife & Frankie. I went to Clem STEVENS to see his wife. I went to J.K. CARRs to see him. I let Ben DeBAUN have some med for his wife. I sold Simon GOBIN 25 cts worth of med. Joe FAGG paid me 1.50 cts on acct. I let Wilmer HUNT have some med. I sent BUNTIN & ARMSTRONG five dollars and an order for some med. It was rainy P.M.

Tuesday, July 2, 1878

I sold Press NASH fifteen cents worth of med. I let George LISTON have some med. I went to J.K. CARRs to see him. I went to Press KESTERs awhile. I went to Sallie FRAIKS to see her. I let Lott TAYLOR have some med for his son Lot. I sent Gip DIX some med. I sent Clem STEVENS wife some med. I went to Solomon HAUGERs to see Harbin. I sold DOWELL twenty five cents worth of med. It was a cloudy day, rained a little.

Wednesday, July 3, 1878

I sold WIER & ELLIOTT fifty cents worth of jugs and bought fruit cans & sugar for eighty cents. I handed Emma one dollar. I went to Wm GARDNERs to see Mollie. I let Press KESTER have some med. I let Sallie HARMON have some med for Tommie. I let Docea ERNEST have some med. I let Levi TRUEBLOOD have some med. I went to George COPLANs to see his wife & Frankie. I let Polly Ann HARMON have some med. I went to Temperance meeting. I paid ten cents to the Society. I let Gip DIX have some med. It was somewhat cloudy.

Thursday, July 4, 1878

I helped W.D. WIER stack wheat awhile. I let Jim TAYLOR have some med. I sent Sallie HARMON some med for Tommie. I helped Press KESTER take some honey. I paid five cents for matches. It was a fair day.

Friday, July 5, 1878

I went to John SHOEMAKERs to see his wife. I paid fifteen cents for yarn & darning needles. I paid RYNERSON ninety cents for Cinchonida. It rained some.

Saturday, July 6, 1878

I let Mary Ann FRAIKS have some med for her mother. I went to Lafe TRUEBLOODs to see John McCARTY. I let George DEVOL have some med. I let W.D. WIER have some med. I pulled a tooth for Miss JOHNSON. I went to Lafe TRUEBLOODs to see John McCARTY again P.M. It rained a shower P.M.

I went to James LOVELACEs to see John McCARTY. I went to Chart MORGANs to see Floy & Francis. I went to Press KESTERs awhile P.M. It was a showery day.

Monday, July 8, 1878

I let Chart MORGAN have some med for Francis. I let Wm KEEGAN have some med. I let Marion KIRKHAM have some med for the baby. I let Albert ELLIOTT have some med. I went to Nannie DIXes to see Oscar. I let John McCARTY have some med. It rained a little P.M.

I let John McCARTY have some med. I let James HAUGER have some med. I let Nannie DIX have some med for Oscar. I went to Chart MORGANs to see Floy. I went to collect some. I went to Press KESTERs awhile P.M. I pulled two teeth for Alice SHOEMAKER and one for Mollie HUNT. I went to Tom STEVENS to see Docia ERNEST. It was cloudy A.M. Rained P.M.

I went to Theodore HANDYs to see his wife. She presented him a boy. I sold Tom BEAUCHAMP twenty five cents worth of med. I went to Chart MORGANs to see his wife & Floy. It was a fair day.

Thursday, July 11, 1878

I went to Theo HANDYs to see his wife. I let Rebecca WIER have some med. I let Hiram ROSWELL have some med for self and Myrtle. I stopped and let Chart MORGANs wife have some med for Floy. I let Polly HARMON have some med. It was a fair day.

Friday, July 12, 1878

I paid W.D. WIERs wife a visit. I sent Mont STEVENS some med. Adam BUTLER brought me four gallons of blackberries. I went to Press KESTERs & hived a swarm of bees.

Saturday, July 13, 1878

I went to Claricy ROMINEs and she paid me one dollar on acct. I went to Wm EATONs and Rube CLARK paid me eight dollars. I let W.D. WIERs wife have some med. I took supper at Press KESTERs. I sold James LOVELACE ten cents worth of med. It was a fair day.

Sunday, July 14, 1878

I let Chart MORGAN have some med for Floy & Francis. I let Press KESTER have some med for Lois. I let J.L. WATSON have some med for Orville. I went to the Christian church A.M. and again P.M. to hear LAYMEN. I went to Press KESTERs awhile P.M. It was a fair day.

Monday, July 15, 1878

I went to John DEVOLs to see his wife. I went to Joe FAGGs he paid me one dollar and a half on a note I held against him. I went to Clem STEVENS. I let his wife have some med. I let Sarah ERNEST have some med. I let Mont STEVENS wife have some med. I went to Perry WILLIAMS. I let his wife have some med. I paid Rebecca WIER two dollars and fifty cents in money and allowed her two dollars and fifty cents on account, which made us even until tomorrow morning. I sold James RICE 25 cts worth of med. I took supper at Emily PIETYs. I let Manda HARMON have some med for Tommy. I let Theodore HANDY have some med for his wife. It was a clear day.

I let Albert ELLIOTT have some Linament for his horse. I went to John DEVOLs to see his wife. I went to Theo HANDYs to see his wife. I let J.L. WATSON have some med for Orville. I paid Henry FRAIKS seventy cents for fish. It was a fair day.

Wednesday, July 17, 1878

I went to Solomon HAUGERs to see Harbin. I went to Curtis SHOEMAKERs to see his wife. I went to Theo HANDYs to see his wife. I went to Wash POUNDs to see his wife. I went to Sallie HARMONs to see Tommie. I took my clothes to Sallie FRAIKS to have them washed. I paid twenty five cents for letter paper. It was a fair day.

I let Stephen BRIDWELLs wife have some med for Nannie. I went to Solomon HAUGERs to see Harbin. I let Wm HAUGER have some med. I let Doc KILION have some med for himself & boy. I let James McHUGH have some med for Henry. I let James LOVELACE have some med. Gip DIX paid me one dollar and twenty five cents on acct. It was a fair A.M. cloudy P.M.

Friday, July 19, 1878

I went to Solomon HAUGERs to see Harbin. I went to Terre Haute. I went to see Frank WHITE. Hamilton TAYLOR paid me one dollar on a note I held against him. I paid BUNTIN & ARMSTRONG nine dollars and five cents for med they allowed me seventy cents on acct which made us even. I paid fifty cents to R. VanVALZAH for pulling a tooth for me. I paid fifty cents for a book of Gold leaf. I paid thirty five cents for dinner for me & horse. Dr. TALBOTT sold 25 cts worth of med for me. I let Theodore HANDY have some med for his wife. I went to S.M. GAPENs to see Harry. I let J...DEVOL have some med. It was a fair day.

Saturday, July 20, 1878

I sold Stephen BRIDWELL twenty five cents worth of med. I went to Frank MOOREs to see their baby. I let Solomon HAUGER have some med for Harbin. I let Jim BOWANs wife have some med for her children. I let Joe FAGG have some med for his daughter. I sent Mont STEVENS some med for the Baby. I let Tom STEVENS wife have some med. I let Docia ERNEST have some med. I let Flora PIETY have some med for which & acct she paid me 75 cts. I let Kate CORNELL have some med for the baby. I let W.D. WIER have some med. I went to S. ELLIOTTs to see Albert. I went to Phebe LaForges to see her. It was a little cloudy.

I let Perry WILLIAMS have some med. I let Wm JOHNSON have some med for his baby. I let Early PIETY have some med for his mother. I went to Mrs. DOWELLs to see Kate CORNELLs little girl. I let Tom STEVENS wife have some med for Cora. I went to Albert LYTLEs to see his wife. I stopped at Leander WILSONs to see his son. It was a clear day.

I went to Solomon HAUGERs to see Harbin. I went to Thomas HANDYs to see his wife. I went to Mrs. DOWELLs to see Kate CORNELLs baby. I went to Jim KIRBYs to see Rube WHITLEYs baby. I let Press KESTER have some med for Lois. I went down to Press KESTERs field to see Benny HAUGER. Nannie DIX paid me one dollar and a half. I paid twenty cents for thread and candy. I let J.F. QUINN have some med. I loaned Jim HAUGER ten dollars for five days. It was a fair day.

I went to Solomon HAUGERs to see Harbin. I went to Alfred LYTLEs [Little] to see his wife. I went to Wm BAILEYs to see his wife and daughter. I sold Stephen BRIDWELL twenty five cents worth of med. Dr. TALBOTT sold Robt. PIETY twenty five cents worth of med for me. I sent Clem STEVENS wife some med. I sent Sarah ERNEST some med. I sold Tom BEAUCHAMP some med for John HUNTs boy. 35 cents worth. I let George DEVOL have some med. It was a clear day.

I sold Mr. JONES twenty five cents worth of med. I went to Sallie FRAIKS to see her. I let Lawrence TURNER have some med. I went to Emily PIETYs to see her. I let Frank CLARK have some med for his daughter. I let S. ELLIOTT have some med. I sold Emanuel CLARK thirry five cents worth of med for his wife. I let Wm BAILEY have some med for his wife and daughter. I went to S.M. GAPENs to see him. I let Ranson TRUEBLOOD have some med. It was a fair day.

I let J.F. QUINN have some med. I let Jack ROMINE have some med for himself & wife. I went to Tom STEVENS to see Cora. I stopped at Polly HARRISes to see Merritt HILLs baby. I went to Emily PIETYs to see her. I let Chart MORGAN have some med for his wife. I let Steve BRIDWELL have some med. I let Jack HARMONs wife have some med for Etta. I helped Jack HARMON get his cow out of a mudhole. It was a fair day.

I sold Tom WIER five cents worth of med. I let David KILIAN have some med for his son. I let Jane JOHNSON have some med. I sold Stephen GAPEN some med. I let Nannie DIX have some med for Oscar. I went to Thomas MONTGOMERYs to see Ellen. It was a fair day.

I went to Emily PIETYs to see her. I went to Tom STEVENS to see him and Cora. I let Ed STEVENS have some med. I let Mont STEVENS wife have some med for her and Edgar. I let Adam BUTLER have some med for Birtie. It was a fair day.

I went to Emily PIETYs to see her. I let Press WEEKs have some med. I let Riley MORGAN have some med. Mont STEVENS paid me five dollars and seventy five cents on a note and acct I hold against him. I went to try to collect some money. I let Perry WILLIAMS wife have some med. I let Ed STEVENS have some med. I stopped at Wm PADDOCKs to see his wife. John BROOKBANK paid me fifty cents on acct. I let Wm SHOEMAKER have some med. I spent the night at the office. I sent BUNTIN & ARMSTRONG an order for some med & I sent them twelve dollars. It was cloudy A.M. cleared P.M.

I went to Emily PIETYs to see her. I sent Jane JOHNSON some med. I went to Early PIETYs to see him. I let Reuben LISTON have some med. I went to Dr. LANEs awhile P.M. It was cloudy A.M. fair P.M.

Wednesday, July 31, 1878

I went to Emily PIETYs to see her. I paid five cents for apples. I sold Press NASH fifty cents worth of med. I let Hugh McBRIDE have some med. I went to Early PIETYs to see him. I let James YEAGER have some med. I paid A.J. HARMON seventy five cents in money and twenty five cents on acct. Stable rent. I sold James RICE twenty five cents worth of med. I let A.J. HARMON have some med for his wife. I went to the Baptist church to Temperance meeting. I paid Rebecca WIER five dollars which made us even up to tonight. It was a fair day.
