My Henry County Surname is FREEMAN. I am a descendant of Noah FREEMAN who purcased to land lots of 202 1/2 acres each while living in Oglethorpe County. But he moved to Henry County and died and is buried at Mount Pleasant. I don't know if that is a church or a cemetary. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to see any information on the Woodward bloodline or the bloodlines of Earnest Walker Barnette who married Mary Coker Barnette bloodline. My grandfather, Wilber Woodward married my grandmother, Oma Ophelia Barnette on August 29, 1932. I know that Earnest Walker Barnette served as Coroner of Henry County for some time. Not sure of actual dates of service. All I know about the Woodward bloodline is that Wilber had a brother named Earl and the sisters of his that I knew were Polly, Bett, & Hilda. Any information that you may have to help me get started in tracing my family tree would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Theresa

I'm looking for information on James M. Mullis, a Primitive Baptist minister, somewhere in Georgia, I think, about the early to mid 1800's. His grand daughter in law was Ida Corbett (Corbitt;Corbet; Corbit), who was born in Ware Co., Ga. She died about 1927. Ida was the mother of Mary Levita Mullis (married to Richard Mack Wilson in 1913 in Ware Co., Ga.). There were about 11 children in the Mullis household, all born in the marriage of Ida Corbett?, and I assume, the first name of Ida's husband to be James Mullis. I would appreciate any information that could be of help me in this endeavor.
