Did Charlie Smith have children? The Charlie Smith I am looking for was an African American who had at least one son named Jesse Smith (born 1888). What are their names, birth dates, death dates, marriage dates, etc? Did any of them move to Clay County GA?

I am interested in contact with anyone who might have knowledge of a Sara or could be Alice Bruce who married a Thurman, could be John, from or later lived in Stockbridge, Ga. area. Descendants of Thurman in later years were concrete contractors. Also I was told several years ago there was a group involved with Bruce genealogy that met at a Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Anyone know about this. Thanks, Scotty Bruce

I'm looking for birth or death records on Tom or Tommy Cawthon. He was my great grandfather. He is buried somewhere in Henry county. I don't know the name of the cemetary right now. I'm just now starting to reseach my family tree. He married Rebecca Guest. My grandfather's name is Ward Wood Cawthon.

My great uncles, Cam Carmichael and H.B. Carmichael, used to own and operate a mill in Henry county I believe. I am trying to find the name of the mill and if it is still in operation. I believe they sold it in the 70's or 80's. Thank you
