My fave actors

My not-so-normal taste in actors

Not in order unless stated otherwise

ACTORS
(based purely on acting talent alone!)

  1. Steve Buscemi
(Became a fan ever since I saw Reservoir Dogs. Mr Pink! I got a personally autographed and dedicated photo from him!!!! I can't believe he's been in over 60 films! I think I've seen about 20 of them)
  2. Oliver Platt (he's cool!)
The rest are out of order

I also don't mind:

OLD/DEAD

  1. Peter Lorre
(I used a picture of him for the actors link. I just think he's such a weird little guy. He's got charisma! That whiny "yes master" voice! The eyes! Why is it that he just seems to epitomise the Igor character in those classic horror movies? Did he ever play such a character? I had a dream where I was a famous director and I had just finished shooting for the day. The two principle actors were Alfred Hitchcock and Peter Lorre{some of you more learned would know that P.Lorre worked with Al on a number of occasions} because I was a huge fan of both of theirs {which I am}. Anyway, I ask each of them for their autograph. Hitchcock was calm and signs, "Al Hitch" but Peter Lorre was apparently a huge fan of mine and seemed shocked, "you want MY autograph?!" he says in that whiny Steve Urkel-esque way. What a crack-up!)
  2. Vincent Price
(He's a legend, isn't he? I reckon he must've been a really good sport too. Like, he was in Edward Scissorhands, need I say more?! But he also did the voiceover for Jacko's Thriller! I like his accent too-that oldschool half-English-half-American accent that a lot of them had. Eg. Grace Kelly, James Stewart, James Mason and all.)

ACTRESSES

(based purely on acting talent!)
  1. Julianne Moore
(I became a fan after seeing "Assassins"-she was so cool!)
  2. Jennifer Tilly
(I think I first saw her in "Bullets Over Broadway" even tho' she's been in quite a few films. I also liked her in "Liar Liar")
  3. Dianne Wiest
(She's great. I love the way she squints her eyes. She has such a sweet sounding voice too. I first remember her in "Parenthood" I always get confused with that and "Father of the Bride," namely cos S.Martin is in both of 'em and they're comedies and they're about families and couples and stuff)
  4. Natalie Portman
(reluctantly so, cos how can it be allowed that one person can possess beauty, talent, maturity, fame AND fortune! It's just not fair. But I didn't really like her in "Leon" In Japanese I'd call her character "namaiki" and a bit of a pain in the ass!)

OLD/DEAD

  1. Geraldine Paige
(I think I've only seen her in "Whatever Happended to Aunt Alice"-she was terrific!! "It's pronounced 'likyur'!" -phonetically spelt, mind you)
