Nova Scotia has more lighthouses than any other province in Canada, with about 160. Most of them are accessible by car or short walk. Of those accessible only by boat, many of them can be viewed from the shore. The lighthouses shown here are the ones I have been fortunate enough to visit and photograph, most of them during my summer, 1998 vacation.
