This weekend and last weekend I re earned my title as the Cisco Kid. Nick, Silas, and I went into the Viking and were taking names. We cut about 30 straight throughs, did two ceiling runs, an entire patch panel, and to top it all off I made an impressive wiring cabinet with a card board box and a scissors. It proved that I have mad arts and craft skills. Images to follow.

These sites are so pitiful it almost hurts. 

Also about the complaints I have been getting lately. Ones like "THIS APPLET DOES NOT WORK" Basically it pisses me off. Here is my disclaimer:

You may have noticed that the site looks funny, That is because I have deleted the style sheet accidentally. In any case here is the NEXT AWESOME EPISODE OF NETWORKING WARS. which unfortunately will not be spell and grammar check for a few days.

 JUNE 26 2002- Simple Chat 1.1 Alpha

That's right I actually felt like programming yesterday. I decided to make a chat program. This is the server program. Without the client applet the only way to use it it through telnet. Though it does have a very Unix like feel when you do it that way. In any case the program is less than 200 lines of code. The instructions are simple. Download. put both files in a c:\net\nfinite then go to dos and type java net.nfinite.Chatserver. Leave the window open and telnet to port 8000 of your ip. Yea thats simple. Its not like anyone cares either. stay tuned for networking wars.

The real important news actually is a Jonnie Cocrain like saying. You all remmber " If the glove don't fit you must acquit" well I got my letter from NYU and " If the letter is thin, you did not get in." So I had to stick it on the wall next to the letters about the jobs I did not get. I start my new job on Tuesday and I am trying to have a hair cut before then.

Team Zero was coming. None of us could really believe it until. This big white van pulls up and who steps out but the Zero team and Jamie Thomas, who is the best skater in the world! If you do not recognize the name he is in Tony Hawks Pro Skater!!

Can it get any better? Yes it can. So we have three video cameras, and we are filming Jamie! We have so much footage! We have a picture with Jamie and the entire rebels Skateboarding team. Today started out slow. Really slow. I spent a good 3 hour trying to beat level 9 high 5 on tetris. I got 4 lines once. After that Mike told me he was going to the festa, so I figured I would go too because they had gambling. Ok here is the deal, I walked in with $60 I played the CRAZY CAN's thing at Mikes booth twice. I played Basketball twice. I got this flag of the part of Italy my grandfather grew up in from my friend Sonia who was working at one of the booths. She accidentally gave me 2 and I accidentally got the wrong province. I spent 8 dollars on tickets for food and stuff. 10 for the flag. So I spent 25 on stuff at the place. With the rest I went down to the casino. First game I came down with ten chips and I made 24 so I was +14. Then I went down again and got 10 in chips. I was up 30 and I do not know why I did not quit. I lost it all. So I went up and took a break. I came back down. with 10 more and I did not do so hot. I played around with it for a while. I lost 10 more so I was -14 at that point. So I took a break. I came up to see what Mike was up to. And after that is was back to work. I got 10 in chips. I was kicking ass. Mike came down to see me I had $30 dollars in chips in my hand. I should have cashed out. I would have broke even. As Mike described it I lost hand after hand. I was just getting stuck in these bad situation. Like I got dealt a 15. So I stayed and lost to a dealer 16. I got 12 took a hit 22. 13 took a hit 22. 15 took a hit 23. Then I had these good hands. I lost on a tie with two kings. I was losing with 17 and 18 I lost a 19 hand. Anyway that is gamblers luck you win a little then lose it all. Next year I am going to follow the stop at 10 ahead rule. I had the best quote of the day, after i lost all my money I said "Good thing they only have this once a year" This girl behind me cracked up.

I came home with 10 in my pocket. So add that t the 25 i spent and I lost 25 at da casino. 

 13 July 2001- Quit my Job

Well first off I have to apologize to Jay who I promised I would meet at 6:00 to go to playland. So I went to work today and I told my grandfather/boss that I had to be home by 5:00 today. I said 5 because after construction work, paint sweat, etc the first thing on your mind is coming home and taking a shower. So its 4:30 and I remind him that I have to go. So I start cleaning up. Now its already 5:10 and I am pissed so I tell him AGAIN that I have to meet someone at 6:00. So he says ok sure lets go and then my dumb Aunt offers him tea. So he cant refuse. 5:30 we get out of the driveway in new rochel plenty of time to make it home, however not enough time to shower. So instead of hopping on the thruway my grandfather takes this back ally, off road hick route through New Rochel and Scaresdale. And I would have still made it in time. We were at the 4 corners at 5:48. He sees two cars in front of him and say, " It looks busy up ahead and then turns off the road for what he called a "short cut". This route was LONGER AND SLOWER then the way we were headed. To make things worse he turns down a street and gets behind a bus that was dropping off kids. Then we get into white plains and instead of going up Gedney Way he turns down his street. "Grand-pa you are dropping me off at my house right?" "O thats right this is not your street" So it was 5:57 and we are headed down my block. All I needed to do was change put on deoderant and then hop in the car and meet jay at the galleria. But guess what NO CAR. That's right its gone. So I walk into the house and go check the messages on my machine but i cant because the phone is off the hook. Thats right my mother has all these "Medical teleconference calls" they last for 3 hours so if she ever had something more important to do she just leaves and leaves the phone off the hook. So that is when I snapped first off she should not have the car anyway. She does not have anything important to do. Not a thing. She is going out with my grandparents car and living the vida loca while I am painting a piece of crap room and can not even come home when I want to. This is bull I am not working with my grandfather any more. Starting plan B going to play basketball so i am not so dman upset.

Also some interesting news. We have started PROJECT APOMAN apoman is the first flash "animation" produced by Apo-Networks right now he is pretty plain but in the future we plan to add these effects. OnMouseOver his hair grows, on MouseOff it shrinks. Also we are going to make his glasses transparent. When you click on him he is going to say Random Classic things.  12 July 2001- I am on the Internet

So funny. I decided to search "Edward Capriolo" on yahoo and I got my Solaris7 armory. I thought that was funny. Searching my name without quotes will bring you to another Solaris7 page with some of my old sci-fi stories. I did not include the link because those are not worth checking out. Also on this note my claim to www.EdwardCapriolo.com will run out soon I have the option of renewing it and using the pointed address for a small chunk of change. I could get a real domain for a slightly bigger chunk of change, however then I would be able to do other cool things on the site that I am not not able to do. Talk to me about this please so I can figure out a good idea.  Thanks Ed

 11 July 2001- It curse has been lifted

That's right its official. I passed calculus. I got a C!! Also I came up with a great idea CS: The movie. I am about 3/4th through the script already and it is awesome. Anyone who wants to act in it is more then welcome to. Also I remembered the other slang Its Mt. VERMIN. Also I came up with a new script for http://geocities.com/javascriptspot for password protection on pages. Also I started working with my "the Family" again today. We put up a fence. Working tomorow too.

 07 July 2001- The van has returned

Yup they found Mikes VAN. Someone had switched the doors off it and then abandoned it in Mt. Virus. That is right they left it "Burnin Vernon". I plan on releasing a more detailed account of the incidents in issue 13, but as of now I suspect the VAN was used as a second generation Shagin Wagon. Issue 13 is on its way to press. Mike make me a song damn it!. When you guys see me you are going to be surprised.

Here is the deal. Today was exam day. I had two exams calculus and Networking Semester 2. I was up till 3 am studying the calc. Honestly it did not help me that much, the practice test was a lot different but I think I did ok. Well enough to pass anyway. However Networking is not like that I get instant gratification. 93 on the final and about 93 overall. If I know how to average right that is. As of this moment I am 50% Cisco certified. Or you might say in calculus terms my rate of Cisco certification dc/dt = 1/4 Cisco t. Where 1/4 and Cisco are constants and t is the scalar for time.
Also keep a lookout for Mikes van, because its been stolen! We would tell the police but inside is enough COKE to sink the Exxon Valdees.

O no! Calculus test tomorrow. I better study tonight. In other news the http://geocities.datacellar.net/javascriptspot is about 90% ready to fire. Boris made a phat logo and I am working on more scripts every day. Today's project can be found at the bottom of the Java Script site. Every visit to the java script spot will get you a new banner. Marvin wrote me from Hong Kong, he says he is very close to deciphering my message, and in worse case scenario would only need 3 extra weeks to get it done. :) but don't underestimate Marvin when he comes back he is going to make his own phat site. I can not give much of it away, but its a name you will never forget.

 09 June 2001- Not much to say, not much going on

Well the first piece of news I found out is that my site does not work in Netscape. And guess what? It might be a while before it does. Updating has slowed and so has visiting. I think I am on record pace for my slowest month ever. How depressing. Mike got a classic hit, but that is getting a bit played. I might take down the counter. Coming very soon is the great secret update that can not be revealed. The other news today is I went to Belmont and LOST THE FARM betting on horses. It was dope! The other news is the RANDOM HUMOR DIRECTORY HAS BEEN ORGANIZED check it out for classic stuff. One more thing no more internet for a week! No e-mail no updates. Sorry but I need a break.

 07 June 2001- Marvin goes to Hong Kong To find the truth

As you know the manager of my international site, Marvin's only job of trying to tell me what the Slogan on my picture is. He has not done a good job. Marvin has told me he is sure that he can decipher the writing if he is sent to his homeland. So I handed him 8 g's and I told him to bring me back a Sword, and If you do not find out what the slogan means that you are out of a job.

Wow it has been a long time. Sorry I have been really really busy. Well here is what happened. I was exempt from my first exam ever. Data Structures. In my networking class I went to take the final. And I got one question wrong! One fricken question I would have rather gotten 3 wrong then one 99% was my grade. Unix, I don't know how I did so it is the one thing standing between me and a 4.0. 
So the next important piece of news is That the Westchester Community Commando's when on the offensive Saturday when we went to survival New York and got the living crap shot out of us, but we shot back. We were playing against some veterans with some really nice equipment. There paintball guns were actually capable of hitting the spot you were aiming at. I do not know how many kills Boris got, but I had 4 all in the last 4 games, (it took Boris and I the first 4 games to get warmed up. All of you know Boris is leaving W.C.C. the reason is that I asked him to open up a Pace chapter called the Pace Community Commando's.
In out final piece of Mega Update news you can here about a simply web page that Microsoft front page turned into a nightmare for me. I had the plan of uploading it and being out in an hour. However those damn server extensions front page uses messed up my cookies. As a result it took my 4 1/2 hours to first the http://www.healthcostremedies.com site. It was crazy. But hey I did get it to work. Big up to Boris who showed me the JavaScript to transfer to another page.

 6 May 2001- Site Enhancements

Today I added a WCC Web ring to the site. I also created my about me section writing it was fun and very therapeutic. Expect me to add to it in the future. In other news Mike is trying to clinch the title of programming champion with another x hundredth hit. I should let you all know right now that 1000 is mine.

I do not know how I got 42 hits on the 23rd I have to say I am in disbelief.
