At first I thought Callisto was going to barbeque that pig. That would've been fun. Was it just me or did it look like Porkules?
Bad Hair Karma
It has come to my attention, that whenever someone has bad hair, something bad happens. (see Bad Hair Karma in the Chat Dictionary)-
Seraphin: one, the hair color just doesn't work write. Go to Cup & Aph's House of Style & get a new dye job. Two, it looks like she got gum stuck in her hair so they had to cut it off.
Gabrielle: She's got that poofy look from Fins... again. No good can come of this.
Ares: Excessively poofy hair also. Kind of looks like he lost his godhood ala The Quill is Mightier...
Fortunately, Xena had good hair karma, even after she took off that mask. Unfortunately, it seems the "burden is on Gabrielle" so even good hair karma can't effect anything. And Callisto always has good hair karma. Must be from all the brushing she does (Ref. Maternal Instincts brush whacking incident)
It's the Anti-Amazons
AKA the Amazon rejects. Apparently, the Dahak Dance Troupe didn't make the cut for the Amazons so they decided to make up their own group. What they don't know is that in order to have a really cool dance, you must include cool chants, like "Olay olay oh lay, lay la, oh lay oh la." Even the Bacchae had their own theme tune.
Bitter Suite Symphony
Why is it everytime Xena & Gab have a heart to heart, I always find myself asking, "Are you going to sing again?"
Flame on!
I just love the scene where Callisto zaps Ares instead of Xena. And the surprised look he first gets, then his extinguishing the flames.
Bored Beyond Belief
Now, I'm sure Gabrielle was supposed to be building a firepit or something ove by the lake, but it did't look quite right. Looked more like she was just bored so she decided to pile a bunch of sticks on top of each other. Maybe she was inventing Pick Up Sticks.
