Harmony Masonic Lodge No.22 A.F.M. News Letter for month of August, 2004

Brethren:

We did not get a newsletter out for July, due to a time factor. We did have a master Mason Degree on July 22nd with the Past Masters onferring the degree. Although we did not have as many of our Past Masters in attendance as we hoped for, the degree went very well. We had a good number of visitors with us and used some of them to fill in the chairs.

We raised 4 new master Masons each one giving his views on becoming a member of the craft. We look forward to seeing them in lodge and taking a part in the work of the Lodge as an active member.

We are planning a Lodge Birthday * Fish Fry on September 11th at 11:00am - 3:00 pm. We are hoping to raise funds to sponsor a team at Beaufort ounty PALS program. This will allow us to be more visible in the publi eye. Tickets are printed at the fottom of this message. Please purchase them ahead, that we might have a number in which to plan for. Any donations will be accepted and appreciated.

We had the pleasure of an official visit from RW Dave Parker DDGM at our last regular meeting. He brought greetings from our Grand Master, and stated that the 4th Dist. Inspirational meeting would be on Oct. 30th at Evergreen Lodge 153 Hampton, and the Instructional meeting would be on Jan.22, 2005, also at Evergreen Lodge 153. He stated that the Master's and Wardens club meets every third Monday of the month at WB Dick Smith's house. All master Masons are invited to attend. We will be putting on the Outdoor Degree this year. I hope to see you in lodge!.
