I put up the Sacrifice 2 commentary.
We're famous!!!!! Read what Whoosh's Betsy Book had to say about the X:WP Chat Dictionary!
Quotes Worthy of Bardliness
Play Misty For Me:
"Oh, mother & child reunion. I'm all misty eyed."
--Callisto (Sacrifice II)
Being Naked Won't Excuse Ya:
"Well, it is a good disguise. And I guess it'll attract less attention than walking around naked, I suppose."
--Callisto (Sacrifice II)
What-ever!:
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Glory hallelujah."
--Callisto (Sacrifice II)
All Dressed Up & Nowhere To Go:
"Oh please. Who said anything about suffering? Really, it's more of a boredom thing, an emptiness really."
--Callisto (Sacrifice II)
No Hard Feelings:
"When I gave you that poison.."
"I forgive you."
"I'm so sorry it didn't finish you."
--Gabrielle & Hope (Sacrifice II)
A Girl's Gotta Do What a Girl's Gotta Do:
"Girl's gotta have some fun."
--Callisto (Sacrifice II)
Not a Chip Off the Old Bard:
"You are so not like your mother."
--Ares (Sacrifice II)
Rolling Around Like Crazed Weasels:
"No, actually, the sight of her & Ares rolling around like weasels made me sick."
--Callisto (Sacrifice II)
Miscellany:
I Do Not Pay For Goo
No, but she sure was willing to wear the goo. At least for awhile. I just wonder how many takes that took. *YECH*
It Runs in the Family
Apparently, the only thing Gabrielle passed on to her daughter besides looks is her habit of pulling people's ears when they annoy her.
Ja, She Has a Daughter Inferiority Complex!
Looks like Hope at least has some kind of complex (I'm not a psych major ok) She really wants to be loved & wants her mother. Kinda makes you feel sorry for the demon spawn. NAAAAAAHHHHH.
It's Like a Soap Opera
Gotta love those Fates! Lachesis (the 2nd one) sure looked really into what was going on. Talk about edge of your seat. She must be a Xenite. And that music! Love non-diagetic* music!
Don't Twist Fate
The Fates didn't seem too pleased that they had to cut Xena's life thread. They probably hated Ares at the moment since he sold everyone out.
My God! They've Killed Gabby. You Bastards!
Well, maybe just put her out of commission for awhile. It sure looks like this is the end of our fave bard. But of course we know she comes back. *SPOILER* How can they have Sappho having "a hankering for Gabrielle", according to Lucy Lawless, without Gabrielle. Now, the fun part is waiting till September & wondering how they're going to bring her back. Maybe a reverse Quest with Gab inhabiting Joxer's body. YIKES!
Ding Dong, the Psycho Barbie's Dead
Ok, we all knew this was coming, but didn't Rob Tapert say something about they might be just getting rid of Callisto, but maybe not necessarily dead. IIRC. Well, I'm thinking, (this is one of my weird theories so just go with it) that though Hind's Blood can kill a god, are we sure it can kill an artificially made god? After all, Callisto ate ambrosia to become a goddess so maybe since she was a mortal, she still has that body to go to (see I told you weird). So instead of killing her, it just takes away her godhood & she ends up being a really injured mortal. Hey, who knows? It is the Xenaverse afterall.
The Eyes Have It
Yikes! Now those are some creepy eyes Hope had. Once she gets the eye thing going, you don't want to be near her. Everytime she would get that look it's like, "AH Don't look at me!" UPDATE: I've actually begun to like the eye thing & the creepy voice. Hey it's ROC and ROC ROCS so there. But what did she do, practice in front of a mirror? Yikes, creepy, but cool.
*Vocab lesson of the week:
non-diagetic music: music that is not part of the narrative; BACKGROUND music; usually to add mood, i.e. dramatic
