House of Blues - Las Vegas Nevada 2001b

Ok, this is night 2! Denise and I woke up, and started getting ready. We went and got in line around 9am. And of course there were people ahead of us already. But I ended up closer than I was the night before, so I was happy.

A while later, Lynn and Misty came, and we decided that we were hungry. We went back to the buffet at the Luxor, with Denise deciding that she would hold the line for us instead of going. Before we went, we found some cute little head bands that had this furry thing in the middle, and sparkly little stars that bobbed around. Mine was green, and I got one for Denise that was blue. Lynn got one too that was purple.

So we ate, then Misty had to leave to go get her husband Lance. Again, the endless wait...eeeps. A while later, Misty comes back! YAY! Lance decided that she could stay, so she got to come back and enjoy another night of Duran. A bit later, she and I decide to go back to our hotel to get ready. I have the hardest time deciding too. I think I changed, what, 5 different times?? Anyway, after that we come back, and send Denise off to get ready.

By this time it was already kinda late, so she just goes to the restroom to change instead. Suddenly Misty realizes that she forgot her ID back at the hotel! She talked to the security guard, who even saw her the night before, and says still that she can't get in without it. WHAT A DORK! Didn't I tell you that the show police were horrible??

I give Misty the car and the hotel key to go back to the hotel because I'm still waiting for Denise to get back. A bit after she leaves, Denise comes back, and a bit even later, they open the doors to let us in. Again, I end up a row or two back in front of SIMON of course. A bit closer than the night before too! YAY!

The show was AWESOME as always. And I got spit on by Simon again lol. SCREAM!!!! And I'm pretty sure he was smiling at me during Union of the Snake from my giving him that snake the night before....hmmmm...!! The setlist was cool.

My sister Denise had a sign that she made that said SMILE with all these cute little happy faces on it, which Nick saw and smiled for, and Joe saw and smiled for, but Simon did not but turned in my direction and did. She was kinda bummed about that Simon!

And I had my SIMON U ARE HOT sign, and the one that just said SIMON. I knew I shoulda held up that Lady Xanax side!!! They didn't play it :( darn it!! But Denise did have hers for Pop Trash Movie and they did play that which she was totally happy about!

Finally, the show ended, and we waited quite a while. My feet were completely dead, and I wanted to go to the car and change them but I didn't know where the car was. I had a few drinks to try and numb the pain away, but that didn't work at all.

Finally, after waiting all night almost, Misty came and got us. We went elsewhere, and still this was kinda like last year, where I will be forever in awe of it actually happeneing. The only bummer part was that Lynn had to leave sometime after we got there, which was really horrible! But, anyway, I GOT MY HUG FROM SIMON!!!! And now, back to reality, I wonder if I was dreaming.....did I actually have a view out of some fantastic waking dream that you sit there going, this can't be real, this can not be real....did I actually go through that....And the answer is....THAT WAS ME!!!!! OMG THAT WAS ME!!!! I got my HUGS FROM SIMON!!!! AND MY GOSH DOES HE SMELL GREAT OR WHAT???? I can't believe that I didn't pass out on the floor sometime that night!!! It was a good thing I stopped drinking or I probably would have lol!!! I know I could have stayed hugging him for the rest of my life, but eventually I did let go......darn it!

So, after this amazing experience, Denise, Misty, and I finally leave, and walk around the Bellagio for a bit because WHO COULD SLEEP AFTER THAT??? Finally at about almost 5am I think, we decided that we should go back to the hotel to sleep before having to check out in the morning. And it took me QUITE a while to do it too!! And the time change thing made it even harder to try and adjust! I kept waking up during the rest of the supposed sleep wanting to scream SIMON....you all understand totally!!!
