NOTE: "Fry & Laurie ... The Third Bit" is only part of "3 Bits of Fry & Laurie", a heaving 564-page compilation consisting of the first two Fry & Laurie books ("A Bit Of" and "A Bit MORE"), plus a shiny, hopeful new edition, all for a retchingly decent price. For reasons which will remain clear, only the third part of this book has been entyped here for your reading pleasure or pleasures.

3 Bits of Fry & Laurie

18 hours of television trapped in a prose net and bludgeoned to death in direct contravention of EC regulations.

Actual Size.
Odour-less.

The first was raw and trembling, the second was misunderstood - now the team that brought you the best of Fry & Laurie bring you the rest of Fry & Laurie, transcendentally luminous moments from the first three of the eternally popular TV series.

COMPRISING

Why take 3 books into the shower? With Fry & Laurie's 3-in-1 you can just Laugh'n'Go.

Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie started writing and performing together in 1981 while at university. They have since appeared together on Alfresco, Saturday Live, Blackadder, Jeeves and Wooster and a BBC series entitled A Bit Of Fry & Laurie (also available in book form), while doing a variety of other writing and performing seperately. They are currently eating, sleeping and spending a more or less average amount of time in the lavatory while working on a new series of A Bit Of Fry & Laurie. Stephen is the taller of the two, while Hugh isn't. Stephen hates the word "while", while Hugh also hates it, while Stephen hates it a tiny bit more, while Hugh is inclined to think enough is enough, one doesn't want to get things out of proportion. They both live in While in Devon. Stephen is thinking of moving.

This book is dedicated to the memory of Margaret Thatcher, which would appear to be rather faulty.

The BBC series A Bit Of Fry & Laurie would in theory not have been possible without the producing-directing, producing and script-editing services of Kevin "His Grace" Bishop, Nick "Mind Out" Symons, or Jon "I'm Sure I Had It On When I Arrived" Canter. It was also theoretically impossible without Johnny Morris and A.S.Byatt, but in the event a certain amount of Dunkirk spirit prevailed and we struggled along happily enough without them, only losing a cuff-link just before the recording of the last episode. Which goes to show that a lot of these so-called indispensable people are just so much hype and the sooner the Olympic Committee comes to realise it the better for all of us.
A Fryetty-Laurietty Cheque Book and Penis also heading towards Mr James Moir, Head of Light Entertainment at BBC TV, who is very good at his job and very nice with it. And very with it. And nice.
