Result :                  6 -  Dungeon bashing.

Graphics:           6 - Sometimes unrefined.
FMV :                 6 - Pity about the loading times.
Sound :              6 - Best thing is the smith's accent.
Music :               5 - Doesn't stand out.
A.I. :                 4 - Use the door idiots.
Lifespan :          5- Surprising short - 16 levels.
Gameplay :        7 - Ultima like.
Adrenaline :      6 - Those last levels get stressful.

Diabalo has standard adventure fare as its premise.  Save the village, explore the dungeon, kill the huge hideous death-spawn lurking in the depths.  All whilst improving your combats abilities or magic powers.  It uses an isometric view, with transparent walls when the would otherwise get in the way.

Sound is functional, graphics are ok, but look a little small and unrefined.

An amusing way to while away some hours, but ultimately its too short, and the difficulty is too variable.

Lots of Gold:
Start a character. Play through until you have gotten at least 4000 gold (though it works with less). Save the character. Start another character in a two player game while using your first character as one of the two characters. Drop everything you want more of (money, weapons, etc.) from the first character (one with money) and have second character pick up. Save second character, and DO NOT save the first. Quit. Repeat but use two of the second character. Makes a whole lotta money. Go nuts.
