Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation, the last title featuring Lara Croft on the PSX, supposedly.  I'm sure she will be back for the PS2.  This returns more the the style of the first game, archeologing in an Egyptian tomb, pushing blocks, killing creepy crawlies, jumping, climbing and shimmying Lara about.  There are supposedly various tweaks, improved graphics, new moves, researched hieroglyphs etc, but it feels much the same as the other titles, with the exception of a training course hiding underneath of the first level.  You play as a young Lara being taught by some old German guy, it adds a nice twist and sets the scene far better.

Things do look good, loads of gold and sand pallets, less clipping than TR1, and an "enhanced" Lara!  Loads of grunting and shooting noises, with appropriately themed music in the background.

Yes it is more of the same.  But it isn't stale yet, and this must be Lara's best outing to date.
