Result :                  5 -  Decidedly average

Graphics:           6 - Variable - good and nasty.
FMV :                 6 - Adequate intro.
Sound :              5 - Non descript.
Music :               4 - Annoying, but only slightly so.
A.I. :                 5 - Simple Simon...
Lifespan :          ? - Unknown yet.
Gameplay :        6 - Car Wars with fewer cars.
Adrenaline :      7 - just enough to make it worthwhile.  As a time waster

Hmmm, Grudge Warriors.  It was real cheap, so thought I'd take a crack and see.   The premise, battle rival gangs on little islands, they are developing secret weapons to help the Kingpin do something?!  You cruise around in a 4 wheeled tank-thing, and blow (just about) everything up.  The controls don't give too much feel for your vehicle, and the weapon systems are a little bizarre.  Your main gun is useless except for shooting inanimate boxes, and the more powerful things suck so much energy that you have to keep running back to recharge stations to fight stuff.

The graphics are quite variable.  The intro FMV is ok, it shows two tanky things have a bash at each other, but the in game graphics have clipping, popup, and too garish/bland colours.  Sound is generic shooting noises (taken from Shoot-em-up Construction Kit 1.2?), and the music dire enough to turn off asap.

Grudge Warriors is an ok time waster, and the single player level design is just good enough to try to see where the programmers are going.  It's just that too many things are very average, maybe that's why it's released new at a third the price of a normal game...
