Day 34 - Niagra FallsSunday, June 15, 1997What a gorgeous day to see Niagra Falls! Spectacular! Awesome! The Falls are absolutely magnificent. Clear and sunny, about 25 degrees and all that thundering water! We rode the Maid of the Mist right into the center of the horseshoe! No words to describe THAT feeling! And so much fun to see it with Georgia and Robyn. Robyn had packed us a pcinic lunch so we found our "reserved" table right by the gorge and ate our lunch. Then it was on to Niagra On The Lake - beautiful! and wine country. Stopped at two wineries for tasting and then onto the QEW/401 to home. We were all pretty much 'spent', especially Georgia, and were prepared to cancel our dinner with Bob. But after a shower, a drink and a change of clothes we were ready to roll. Picked up Bob at the Travelodge and went to 4 restaurants (3 closed - the last one being back at the Travelodge) and had a great visit with Bob. Got caught up on his 'house' news - house is almost finished, they move in July 1; 'kids' news - Stacey went on a campout with school - one of the girls threw gasoline on the fire, they burned down their shelter and Stacey got a minor burn on her arm - she had borrowed Dad's sleeping bag and it was destroyed; and related a few Greek adventures.
