Day 35 - Toronto
Monday, June 16, 1997
Bob picked us up just before noon, and took us to a great Italian place for lunch. And then it was on to the grand tour of the Dixie warehouses! We did it all, from receiving cores, disassembly, manufacture, packaging & distribution. Met all kinds of people. Very interesting. It's so much bigger than I anticipated.Fenco was next, where I met Du, Maggie, Wayne and the rest. So that was good too.
Bob dropped us off at the subway, and we headed downtown. Georgia had surprised us with Blue Jay tickets and it was "Hat" night, so we got there in time for a souvenir hat. The Jays lost 3-0 to the Atlanta Braves (Inter-league game) and while the game itself wasn't too exciting, we had a great time. Great hot dogs! A great way to wrap up our trip!
Tomorrow we head 'er home! Hardly seems real!
