Fat and ugly,
is what I thought.
Unwanted,
bony knees,
huge hands,
and feet.
Unruly hair
and crooked teeth,
lopsided face
and downcast eyes.
Disfigured,
deformed,
disgusting.
Dirty old me.
It is amazing
how I ever got
to a point
of liking me.
