    Knots

Knots in my tummy,
Turning upside down,
Rolling and tightening,
Feeling sick all the time.

Knots in my throat,
Turning me inside out,
Controlling my breath,
Impossible to speak.

Knots in my brain,
Thoughts swirling in my head,
Too many to make sense,
My brain on "stall".

Knots in my heart,
Aching, hurting pain,
Wondering what I did,
To be so unloved.
