That five children
Gived five different names
Would grow up and all reject
What they were given.

Shirley became Lee
Larry we don't know
Guy became John
Greg took on Louis
And Robin became Bijou.

By giving up our names
Are we rejecting more than that
Perhaps a childhood full of pain
By taking on new names
Are we trying to fing ourselves.

For one it is escape
For one an alias
For another a stage name
A fourth - a fantasy
For me - a creation of new beginning.
