    Virtual Stranger

As I go to see my father
There are places I could go
Family -- can't go there
I must take care of me.

A sister -- father not shared
An addict -- no support there
A hotel -- no comfort there
Too bare of human contact.

A virtual stranger
Met on the net
A hand, a word
Offered with sincere regret.

A kind and virtual stranger
Is where I want to be.
