P.A.L.S. Meeting
8-15-03
Present: Jan, Lisa, Denise, Mariana and Heidi.
Once again we meet in Heidis yard the weekend of Irish fest. The atmosphere was festive, even though fatigue from busy lives was prevalent. Trying to save up energy for the Fest the following day was also a priority. Heidi served up quite the variety, with an import by the title of "Prince" being a most unusual selection. Gardens, harvest, family, and the usual "men are from Mars" were topics of discussion and there is so much good that comes from being together. The yard was so comfortable (hardly any bugs), it was hard to get going home. But with a busy day ahead at Irish fest, we all needed a good nights sleep.
There was discussion about the upcoming months of beer club. The Septembeerfest will be held once again at the Oak Creek Community Center. The consensus was that we would attend that, and significant others too if they want. It promises to be the biggest event yet. Then October will be Lisas (the 25th sounded good to all); November, Joan; and then our Round robin in December. However, the rotation can change if something comes up. A very helpful member was intending to get this all down on her calendar, but since the "pen" she grabbed was a cigar, I took the notes instead.
So mark your calendars for September 26th, Friday. The fest runs from 8-11pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Respectfully submitted,
Mariana
