P.A.L.S. MEETING

Members present: Lisa, Denise, Heidi, Jan, and Mariana.
Nice weather allowed us to meet outside for the first time in 2001. We began the evening with "Purple Haze", a berry beer (we were also IN a purple haze as I had my outside purple lights on), and ended the taste testing IN the dark, with a dark, chocolate oatmeal stout. After the sun went down with the brew, we warmed our outsides with a fire, and our insides with our favorite beverage. Good eats, as always, makes the meeting complete. The fire was crackling and spitting, and we were lucky to survive without burns, although I have a hole in my shirt, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Future meetings were discussed. The next month will be our field trip. We decided to tour Lakefront once again, at its new location. Mariana will call for details. Following the tour, we would like to visit The Nomad, a bar on the east side, for which Lakefront brews The Nomad – a beer we sampled tonight (good red!).
