Here are some more of our first day's activitiy

Wow! What's this. A giant creature in the tree outside our window?

No, it's just the house pet, Memme-san, that has been brought out for display.

Since Japanese homes are typically small, the house pets are also usually small. This is Father's pet beetle. He feeds it fresh apple every day.

Masako is preparing seaweed soup for our lunch

The seaweed is dry before it is put in the soup bowls.

We also has sushi for lunch as well. I told you we eat well here.
