A Trip to Nagano

Today we left for a three day trip to the mountains of Japan. We went with Yoshiko's freind from her school days, Takiko. Takiko has a Toyota SUV and likes to drive and go to the mountains.

We too the toll road from Tokyo to the citiy of Nagano. We stopped for a lunch break and rest at Lake Suwa. Takiko is shown on the left, Yoshiko on the right. The lake is in the background.

In Nagano we drove past this used car lot that had a used Airstream trailer for sale.

I looks like a smaller model from the early '70s or late '60s to me. What do you think?

Here we are at the Zenkogi temple in Nagano. This was used as the center for broadcasting the winter Olympic games last year.
