A Day in Nagano prefecture

The grapes are ripe in Japan. These grapes are very large. Most Japanese peel their grapes before eating them.

The bunches of grapes are wrapped while on the vine to protect them from contamination by pesticide

It is also apple season. Japanese apples are very large and fairly expensive.

A stone Jizo with a rabbit

We are having a rest break with tea and dongo (rice balls on a stick) at one of the shrines.

This is a small shine to married gods Dosojin
