Twentieth day in Japan

In addition to the performance at the theater there was a big parade in downtown Fuchu. There were about 50 very large taiko drums pulled through the streets by teams from different districts. The largest of these drums were 2 meters in diameter. There was incessant pounding of these big drums for several hours.

	The members standing on the top of the drums directed those below when it was time to strike the drum head.
	The drums are struck with much gusto.
